Profile
Mary thrives on supporting people and organisations to grow, flourish and reach their full potential. Since setting up Growth Potential in 2010, she has developed a reputation for distilling all of the noise down into clear, key ambitions and for bringing order to complex environments. Balancing a logical, data-driven approach with a recognition of the need for collaboration and inclusion, Mary is adept at getting people & organisations to reflect on their values, and at encouraging organisations to be clear about what client problem they are trying to solve. She has worked with  clients from the private, public and not-for-profit sectors

Prior to founding Growth Potential, Mary worked in design engineering, management consulting, business development and overseas humanitarian aid & development. She held senior management roles at several organisations, the most recent of which was Creganna Medical, where  she was a key player in defining and delivering on a highly ambitious strategy, opening up new global markets, securing existing business, and building and developing strong teams that contributed to exceptional growth. She progressed to become VP Business Development, with responsibility for mergers and acquisitions. A member of the AC (Association for Coaching), Mary also has an MBA from DCU and is a Licensed Business Practitioner of NLP.

Will Devas

Will Devas

Consultant & Coach

Profile
Will is motivated by supporting leaders, leadership teams and boards to be the best they can be in seeking to bring about positive and just societal change.  His areas of interest and expertise are supporting organisations to determine their purpose and values, strategy development and reviews, facilitating teams in strategic troubleshooting, leadership coaching, and group facilitation such as away-days or decision making meetings. His real added value is the mix of skills and experience gained from having been a CEO, significant experience and understanding of conflict resolution and his psychology background as a psychotherapist. This is underpinned by his natural ability to build trust and good relations, listen attentively, encourage meaningful reflection and create the safety to ensure the real nub of issues are named and constructively discussed to support decision making and change.  He fundamentally believes that individuals, teams and organisations are the best architects of their own solutions rather than offering outside ‘fixes’ and is excellent at facilitating them in that process. However when appropriate he is skilled at offering different perspectives or challenging to aid thinking.

Background
Will is a highly regarded consultant, leadership coach, facilitator, psychotherapist and not-for-profit CEO. Until November 2017 he was CEO of the Glencree Centre for Peace and  Reconciliation (Glencree).  Under his leadership, Glencree moved from a position of precariousness to stability and Will helped to re-establish Glencree as a highly trusted and  vital civil society support to the ongoing peace process on the island of Ireland. He still facilitates, when required, dialogues around contentious and sensitive post-violent conflict issues with a primary focus on the legacy of the ‘Troubles’.  Before Glencree he spent nine years in International Humanitarian Aid & Development working for Concern Worldwide both overseas and  in head office, was involved in large event management such as FIFA World Cups in 2002 & 2006 and hotel and property management in the Alps.  He works one day a week with a small number of psychotherapy clients.

Interests
Beyond hopefully being a good enough father and husband, Will is a cycling and outdoor adventure enthusiast and loves spending time in beautiful, remote places or riding around a velodrome, sadly rather slowly.  He loves to cook and have a meal with friends and family or a good espresso, enjoys Tai Chi and occasionally plays tennis, watches rugby and follows professional cycling and ultra-trail running events.
